| This course meets the required annual refresher requirement for the accredited Building Inspector as required by EPA and OSHA. The course reviews asbestos basics, health effects, respirators and protective clothing, functions, roles and qualifications of the inspector, legal considerations, public relations and notifications, laws and regulations, inspecting for asbestos containing materials, record keeping and the inspection report. Upon successful completion of the course, a Refresher Certificate will be issued. |
| This course meets the required annual refresher requirement for the accredited contractor / supervisor as required by EPA and OSHA. The course reviews functions of inspectors and management planners, insurance and legal considerations, public relations and notifications, review of laws and regulations, inspection report, the hazard assessment and evaluation of response actions, hazards of ACM (hazard assessment), decision tree and hazard rankings, evaluation and selection of response actions, record keeping, O&M plan and the Management Plan.
